Board Member and Industry Veteran Steps Into Leadership Role to Drive Next Phase of AI Security Innovation
SentinelOne has appointed Ana Pinczuk as its new President of Product & Technology. Pinczuk, a seasoned executive who has served on SentinelOne’s Board of Directors since 2022, will now take the reins of the company’s global product and technology organization.
In her new role, Pinczuk will oversee all aspects of product development and innovation, including research and development, AI and platform engineering, product management, and technology operations.
Pinczuk brings nearly three decades of experience scaling major SaaS and cybersecurity businesses. Her extensive leadership background includes key product and technology roles at companies like HPE, Anaplan, Veritas, and Symantec, as well as senior executive positions at Cisco and AT&T. Her prior experience as a board member gives her a unique and deep understanding of SentinelOne’s technology roadmap and corporate strategy.
Tomer Weingarten, CEO of SentinelOne, expressed strong confidence in the appointment. “Ana is uniquely positioned to accelerate our innovation engine at a pivotal moment for SentinelOne,” Weingarten stated. “As we embark on the next phase of our growth, her proven expertise in building world-class product and technology organizations will help us deliver faster, smarter, and more autonomous security solutions for the AI era.”
The CEO also thanked Ric Smith, who is departing the company to pursue new opportunities, for his leadership and contributions since 2021.
Pinczuk is eager to take on the challenge of advancing SentinelOne’s market leadership. “SentinelOne has built the foundation for security in the AI-driven world by bringing industry-leading innovations to market,” Pinczuk commented.
She highlighted her immediate goals, which include expanding the AI-native platform, advancing the autonomous Security Operations Center (SOC), and ensuring customers are empowered to harness the full potential of AI to stay ahead in an increasingly complex security landscape.
