The former IT Global GM for Finance at Shell joins the IFS Executive Board to drive global technology transformation and scale the Industrial AI leader’s operations.
IFS today announced a major executive appointment, naming Robi Gone as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). Gone will lead the company’s worldwide IT strategy, taking over from the retiring Helena Nimmo.
Gone brings deep experience in enterprise-level digital change, joining IFS after more than a decade in senior IT leadership roles at Shell. Most recently, he served as IT Global General Manager for Finance, where he spearheaded the oil giant’s digital backbone transformation through next-generation ERP and SaaS implementations across global finance platforms. Prior to his tenure at Shell, he sharpened his expertise in enterprise IT and transformation through consulting positions at Deloitte and Accenture.
Reporting directly to CEO Mark Moffat and joining the IFS Executive Board, Gone is tasked with ensuring IFS’s internal technology foundation matches its market-leading innovation.
