How Wayfinder Managed Services and Google Threat Intelligence are Redefining the Defender’s Advantage
At the 2026 Google Cloud Partner Awards, SentinelOne has been honored as the Partner of the Year for Security, specifically for its integration with Google Threat Intelligence. The award highlights a year of aggressive innovation, where the two giants moved beyond standard integration to build a unified, AI-native defense layer for the modern enterprise.
The partnership, which saw a massive expansion at RSAC 2026, focuses on three pillars: Runtime Security, Data Sovereignty, and the emerging field of Agentic Cybersecurity.
As organizations move their core logic into the cloud, the attack surface has become more fluid. Melissa K. Smith, SVP of Global Strategic Partnerships at SentinelOne, notes that security leaders are now securing environments where data and cloud converge at high speeds.
The alliance aims to give defenders an operating advantage by anchoring SentinelOne’s AI-driven protection with Google’s global-scale infrastructure.
The collaboration has introduced several structural shifts in how security operations (SecOps) are managed:
- SentinelOne Wayfinder Managed Services: A hybrid Human and AI detection service. It combines the elite human expertise of Google Threat Intelligence with SentinelOne’s telemetry and agentic capabilities to automate the hunt for stealthy adversaries.
- Intelligence-Led EDR: By fusing proprietary data with Google’s world-class threat feeds, every alert in the Singularity Platform is enriched with high-fidelity context, allowing teams to identify sophisticated attackers before they can move laterally.
- Global Sovereignty & Compliance: To meet the strict regulatory demands of 2026, the Singularity Platform is now available in strategic Google Cloud regions, including Frankfurt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, ensuring data residency for sensitive government and enterprise workloads.
Perhaps most critically, the partnership is focused on securing the AI Era. As enterprises deploy Generative AI and autonomous AI agents, the SentinelOne-Google alliance provides a protection layer for the full AI stack. This allows firms to adopt agentic workflows with the confidence that their digital employees are not introducing new vulnerabilities.
