As the identity security landscape shifts toward managed services and outcome-based engagement, One Identity is doubling down on its commitment to its partner ecosystem with two major leadership appointments.
One Identity, recently established as an independent company headquartered in Cork, Ireland, has announced the appointment of Marianne Van Der Pluym as EMEA Channel and Alliances Director and Tracey Mead as North America Channel and Alliances Director.
These strategic hires mark a significant evolution in how the company intends to support its partners. As organizations face increasingly complex identity security challenges, compounded by the rise of AI and non-human identities, One Identity is positioning itself to move beyond traditional resale models.
Both Van Der Pluym and Mead bring deep roots in the cybersecurity industry and a shared history of collaboration:
- Marianne Van Der Pluym (EMEA): Joining from Cryptomathic, Van Der Pluym brings extensive experience from roles at OpenText, Micro Focus, and IBM. Her focus is clear: supporting partners who specialize in deep-domain identity security.
- Tracey Mead (North America): A six-time honoree on the CRN Women of the Channel list and a 2026 CRN Channel Chief, Mead brings a wealth of experience from Contrast Security, OpenText, and CA Technologies. Her vision centers on building joint solutions that address modern security threats, including AI-driven risks.
According to Ian Sutherland, Chief Revenue Officer at One Identity, the market is rapidly moving away from simple product resale. Today’s partners are increasingly focused on managed services and delivering tangible security outcomes.
For the partner community, this means One Identity is realigning its engagement model. Van Der Pluym notes that the fastest-growing partners in EMEA are those who have “picked a lane”—and the new leadership is committed to providing the program support required for those partners to excel in delivering identity security as a specialized service.
With its new independence and refreshed leadership, One Identity is clearly aiming for increased speed and agility in a market where identity is now the primary perimeter for global enterprises.
