Bringing over 20 years of telecom leadership experience and a proven track record in the market, Beya steps into the permanent CEO role to accelerate the expansion of digital infrastructure across the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Liquid Intelligent Technologies, a business of global technology leader Cassava Technologies, has officially announced the appointment of Bernard Beya as Chief Executive Officer of its operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), effective April 1, 2026.
Beya is no stranger to the organization or the region. Bringing over two decades of robust leadership experience in the telecommunications sector, with extensive, specialized expertise in the DRC market, he initially joined Liquid in September 2022 as Chief Financial Officer. He later transitioned to Acting CEO in November 2025, successfully guiding the company’s strategic, operational, and commercial direction ahead of his permanent appointment.
