New Distribution Deal Brings Quantum-Resistant VPNs and Passwordless IAM to Regional Enterprises as Encryption Standards Face a Generational Shift
As quantum computing matures, the encryption standards that protect the world’s most sensitive data are facing a looming obsolescence. In response, AmiViz, the MEA region’s leading cybersecurity and AI-focused distributor, has announced a strategic partnership with QuantumGate. The deal will provide regional enterprises and critical infrastructure operators with immediate access to post-quantum cryptographic (PQC) solutions.
The partnership arrives as a countermeasure to the Harvest Now, Decrypt Later threat, where adversaries intercept and store encrypted data today with the intention of decrypting it once quantum capabilities become available.
QuantumGate’s suite addresses both the immediate need for robust access control and the long-term requirement for resilient encryption:
- QSphere: A suite of quantum-resilient solutions providing secure communications via VPN and data-level encryption.
- Salina: A passwordless Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform built on a phishing-resistant cryptographic stack.
- Crypto Discovery Tool: A critical asset for GRC teams, allowing organizations to inventory their cryptographic assets and identify vulnerabilities before the migration to PQC.
- Secure VMI: Isolates and protects sensitive data on personal (BYOD) and corporate mobile devices.
For many organizations, quantum risk has felt like a distant problem. However, the partnership with AmiViz signals that PQC is now a practical, deployable reality. By leveraging AmiViz’s Virtual Customer Experience Centre, partners and customers can now test these quantum-resistant technologies in real-world scenarios.
“The move to quantum-resistant cryptography is no longer theoretical,” says Ilyas Mohammed, COO of AmiViz. “Attackers can already harvest encrypted information for future decryption. With QuantumGate and AmiViz together, organizations across the Middle East and Africa can take action now to protect long-lived data.”
With escalating cyber activity and regional conflicts, future-proof security infrastructure has become a matter of national and economic interest. Janne Hirvimies, CTO of QuantumGate, emphasizes that security teams are moving from awareness to active planning, turning the industry’s transition toward quantum-safe standards into a strategic mandate.
